Macy Young Gets Along in Reno to Sit Third in Breakaway Roping Average

Macy Young made a 3.1-second run in the third performance of Reno Rodeo to bring her average to 5.8 seconds on two head.

“I knew that calf was better, so it just made me feel more more confident that you’re never going to get outran,” Young said about her fast horse.

While she normally travels with her family, Young has placed in Reno all on her own. With multiple performances to go, Young sits third in the Reno Rodeo average but remains with a chance to come back to Championship Saturday in Reno.
